Our practice is guided by evidence-based therapeutic approaches including Attachment Theory, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, Psychotherapy, Person-Centred Counselling, Gottman Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Our therapists are trained in a range of different approaches and work in an eclectic way utilising a detailed assessment and their clinical experience to tailor treatment in collaboration with individual clients or client groups (couples, families).
BayWellbeing therapists are trauma-informed, having undertaken specific training for working with people who have experienced different types of trauma in their lives, whether it be a recent one off event, or throughout their childhood.
