Trainee Counsellor

Racheal is a Trainee Counsellor currently studying her Certificate IV in Mental Health and undertaking a Traineeship program with BayWellbeing. In addition, Racheal is studying a Bachelor of Psychological Sciences with Swinburne University, working towards becoming a registered psychologist.

Racheal has a wealth of life experience and brings great empathy and her warm and caring personality as solid grounding for helping people with a range of life challenges.

Racheal is a qualified yoga and Pilates teacher; trained in various movement, breathing and relaxation techniques, having gained her first yoga qualification nearly 10 years ago. As a yoga teacher she became a leader, gained the power to be present, and the ability to listen and understand that everyone is unique and presents with their own issues.

Racheal’s special interests include trauma, specifically for those who work on our frontline, anxiety and depression, personal development, and building self-esteem and confidence.

Pricing for consultations with Racheal is set at a lower fee to reflect her in-training status, however, clients choosing to see Racheal can be assured that she is well-trained in ethical practice, counselling skills and basic intervention skills. Her work is overseen by our Principal Psychologist and clients can be assured of an ethical, professional and effective service.
